Torrin Williams has distinguished himself as one of the leading classical guitarists of his generation, praised for his ‘remarkable musicality’ (Miloš Karadaglić) and ‘mesmerising stage presence.’ (Alison Balsom)
Torrin made his public debut in 2018 appearing as a String Category Finalist on BBC Young Musician of the Year, a performance broadcast live on BBC 4 and BBC Radio 3. In the same year, he gave his debut solo recital at London’s prestigious Wigmore Hall.
As an active soloist, Torrin has performed at festivals and venues across Europe, including: Great Britain; The Netherlands; Germany; Switzerland; Austria; Italy; Slovenia; Kosovo and Portugal. Torrin’s most recent solo awards include: 1st Prize at the International Guitar Competition Nürtingen 2025; 2nd Prize at the International Guitar Competition Maurizio Biasini (cciMB) 2024.
