ABOUT

“Torrin Williams is an original. His understanding of music comes from a very profound place, his production of musical ideas are so immediate, so flawless. He is a truly outstanding artist on the guitar.”

Petrit Çeku

“I found him quite a mesmerising stage presence; he was performing very much to us and giving us everything. He was in his own world which was very beguiling. The guitar is not going to naturally project to the back of a huge concert hall but what he did instead was to draw us to him which is a real gift.”

Alison Balsom

“His musicality and tonal precision on the strings are simply superb. Sensitively sung melodies, sophisticated shifts in timbre, sonorous bass notes, warmly flowing legato, light-footed, sparkling staccatos: everything sounds effortless, relaxed and unforced, even the most frenetic of figurations.”

Armin Knauer, Reutlinger General-Anzeiger

His playing is characterised by clarity, elegance, and a remarkable capacity for emotional communication. With his performances in Europe and beyond, Torrin is establishing himself as one of the most fascinating young guitarists of his generation, effortlessly blending tradition and modernity.”
